Little Pusher Tugs
I wouldn’t call these little beavers ugly, never in my life…..uhm..maybe, sometimes they are ugly-ish…….but most of the time the are just funny. See them as the ants of the maritime world: always working and always taking on more than they seem to be able to handle.
So few words in this one, just pics for your laughing pleasure (and the occasional cuteness)

Thanks to Bowsprite who gave me inspiration for this post by sending in below picture:
Luckily she found a better version on Towmasters (compare it to the pics above: bit of work done Mate???) and both of them (Helen Parker & Bowsprite) are also mentioned in this post on Tugster.
Can somebody please get Bowsprite a real camera????
Update (27-09-2009)
Will of Tugster read this post today and immediately mailed me another contestant, the picture isn’t that good and I can’t find a name anywhere on her but I didn’t want you to miss out on this.
This little pusher tug, aka minitug, aka truckable tug has a Lower AND a Upper Wheelhouse. And the way they are nicely blended together really makes her the most ugly one of the whole bunch!
Oh: and apparently Bowsprite already has a new camera so you can keep the money you planned to donate in your pocket….go buy some sweets or so!

looks like from a Mikey Mouse cartoon
or some kind of camouflage of the conning tower of a US nuclear sub
Helen Parker capsized in the Hudson River, NYC yesterday.
