Build : 1989 by Wartsila Shipyard – Helsinki in Finland as Arpa
I’ve been eyeing up this vessel since I set my eyes on her when she arrived at the shipyard in Delfzijl, the Netherlands to be lenghtened…and finally she is ready so I can burn her down! Hah! She is a strange looking tug with her covered f’clse…Now she is lenghtened she is actually looking a bit better but when she was her original length she was a strange stubby tug!
You see…..bit of an odd-looking ugly tugling, and to top it off: in my favorite yukkie-color green.
And now, after almost a year at the shipyard, lengthened, painted and probably a lot more work done she is back in the water again to amaze us with her quirky lines.
