The Vistamar is a truley hidious thing, propably concived on a monday morning after a weekend of heavy drinking and snorting coke, the color sceme from the Conti Germany has propably the same background, the others are working vessels.
I used to be an engineer on dutch coasters and if I would turn up in a tuxedo with a top hat, they would kick me overboard, they expected me in a boiler suit with a greasy rag in my back pocket.
These working ships are not ment to be beatyfull but practical, O.K. some designs could be better, but if you let a sup leyor be designd by an Italian yachtbuilder, it might look better, altoug that is a question of debate also, but it would be totaly useless.
The only great looking workingships I have ever seen where some ships from Geest, banana reefers, I have seen them a few times in Barry Island, a small port west of Cardif in the UK.
If you talk ugly that was an ugly little port.
The only flat hullplates where the ones midships, you could convert them to a yacht anytime, you had a big and cold one, but with a hull that was great.
