Don’t get me wrong, I have got the utmost respect for the men and women who risk their own lives to go out to sea and rescue others. I salute them and I thank them. But to be honest: if somebody showed up, rescuing you in a little cute boat like this wouldn’t your reaction also be similar like: hello little one, have you lost your way while playing in the bathtub??

The German rescue-service (DGzRS) has about 20 of these vessels, cute, very cute!

And to show that they have “real” rescue vessels as well: the Hermann Marwede:

The little one on the foreground is the daughtercraft of Hermann. Go check out the site of the DGzRS for more info and other vessels.

Oh, this is sooooo adorable! I would enjoy being rescued even more if something like this showed up.
