Remember the Superstar ???…….The same company also owns the vessel featured in this post: the Star. She is also green, but not as green as the Superstar, maybe that’s why the Superstar is called the Superstar: because she is super green in relative to the Star. And maybe that is a good thing because if this vessel would have been totally painted this shade of green it would have passed the Superstar as being the most green ship in the fleet of Tallink……and then her name should have been changed to Supersuperstar.

The company also has another vessel with a “special” paintjob, the Baltic Princess with pink swirly thingies on the sides. A bit in the same trend as the NCL cruiseships I posted about earlier.

Needless to say that I don’t think this is beautiful but other people (might) think it’s art…I consider art to be in a totally different league……ah well:  I gues everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion.

I also can’t discover a theme in Tallink’s fleet paintjob’s, where other companies have a certain theme that returns on every vessel in some sort of way, this company seems to use randomness painting as their fleet-wide theme.
