Viking Sentinel

IMO : 8121410

Build : 1982 by Fiskerstrand Verft AS, Fiskerstrand in Norway, nr 37 as Sentinel Maria

Standby ships are meant to rescue personnel from oilplatforms if there is an emergency on board of that platform and to keep a eye out for rogue ships trying to crash into the platform, intentionally or not. But this vessel is so ugly nobody wants to put their safety to risk when this vessel is watching over them, afraid to come closer to her. And it goes the other way as well: as a seafarer you don’t wanna be too close to her as the ugliness might rub off to your vessel. So this vessel is actually the best safety-measure a company can get!

She went from white on red to yellow on black and back to white on red and none really suits her!
