I hear you thinking: What’s happening here, that vessel isn’t that ugly….and you know what: you are right! It’s not the ship that’s ugly but what they did to her: see below pics.

Hee: this ship is vandalized!! Those pesky graffiti dudes have been at it!

No, you couldn’t have been more wrong: this has been done intentionally: 47 Graffiti artistsĀ  have been invited in 3 separated occasions to spray their art onto this poor ConRo-vessel. And why: because the company values contemporary arts, because they find it important to give young artists a chance to present their art, because these are tough economic times and they want to maintain positive values…..blablabla…I’m the last one to object to contemporary art but I do think it looks ugly and very unprofessional and I (and I assume a great number of people) will be very relieved when the hull is painted over in 6 months time.

    the ships is ugly like this ok but i know the ship before this paintings as was the agents couple of time of it when came to nile dutch managment and the ship was needed anyway some paintings
    don t worry he will drydock short for full paint and the rest
    bearing after a black hull and nile dutch new painting on port and stbd side
