This little vessel is an oceanographic research vessel from the Swedish government. And isn’t she just a big messed up design. I don’t know where to start giving comments…….let’s begin with that fact that the accommodation seems to be too large for the hull underneath it and they seemed to have cut off the remaining bit that was really too much on the aftside. And they appeared to have done the same with the already small hull.
Then we get to the windows in the accommodation, especially those of the bridge: wow….they are hugh (which is good for the view btw) but they look awful in there!
And then you have the tiny windows in the side, and loads of them on the aft……not really a coherent look!
And then we haven’t even discussed the rest of the vessel but already I hereby declare this vessel an O.U.S. Simple as that………
By the looks of it she is renamed now, via Atlantic Cougar to Magnificat and is working in the windfarm industry, see below spec-sheet (pdf) for more info & pics of this ugly thing.
Thanks to Mo Hunter for the tip.
