Flashback week 09-2009

I have been told that people in general like repetition, schedules, rhythm so to not disrupt your expectations is here, same time, same place: a new Flashback. This time we have a look at week 09 of 2009. (also a bit repetitive).

This week started of with triangle delta-shaped vessel: the Ramform Banff (I’m still breaking my tongue about that name).

You weren’t supposed to lay your eyes upon this vessel, that’s probably why she is called the Sea Shadow.

Some people call it Art, others, like me call it questionable arty-farty decorations: Norwegian Gem & sisters.

The tug Bodo has a poisonous colorscheme.

The Royale Atlantic is a….what is it actually?

Flat, flaterdeflat, flatter than flat…also called Orelia.

Flashback week 08-2009

Newsflash: it’s monday so again time for our weekly flashback!

The North Ocean 102 kicked off the week last year.

We looked at the ugliest and most dangerous Ducks in the world.

Some squares with wingnuts: Oden, icebreaker.

A giant suppository: the Cosmic Muffin.

We saw something out of Rome on a Chinese River: Min Duo.

The LNG Dream had giant drawings on her gastanks.

Contship Germany and her sisters: very colorfull!

A first part of a herd of stenching Livestock Carriers.

Panic broke out when my laptop crashed (and got repaired again).

Al Salam Boccaccio 98: top-heavy & butt-ugly.

Flashback week 07-2009

Another monday, another flashback to another week last year this time.

It started with the children’s drawings on the Natchan World and her sister.

The Futura Carrier gave us a glimpse of what the future would be like, never saw something likewise again.

The Seven Island Yume was anything but yummie.

Another triangle shaped hull: the spying Marjata.

Blue was the (temporarily) new green.

The Nesco Reefer looks to be assembled from 2 different ships.

Blunt: the Seaspan Doris.

And the last day of the week was a very busy one with:

An ugly coaster: Tege,

The result of the Ulstein X-bow poll,

An updated Steve Irwin,

And finally the Lochnagar made her appearance.
