Build: 1939 as a Boeing 307 Stratoliner airplane

Converted : 1974

Remember the little ferries I nicknamed suppositories?? Well, here I got a ship really worthy of that nickname! She was once one out of a total of ten Boeing 307’s build and allegedly owned by Howard Hughes. Before she got converted into this floating contraption she already gone through a lot of adventures, read the whole history here and here.

In short: converted in 1974, made livable in 1981, rebuild in 1994 and now open for public & you can hire her for tours.

And we can honestly say that as a plane she was more beautiful than in her current form as a yacht. Water: the wrong element for a plane!
